Our History

New Zealand Uniforms was created by the Bunnell family in 1994.
It started in Wellington but has now grown to over 10 locations throughout New Zealand.

Our original trading name was Canterbury of NZ Teamwear, but we re-branded to
New Zealand Uniforms in February 2011.

This brand change better reflected our product range which specialises in uniforms for School, Work and Sport and has grown to one of the largest available in the New Zealand market.
New Zealand Uniforms continues to be the largest distributor of the Canterbury brand, but also stocks many other well-known brands from Adidas to Nike.

Our major Warehouse and sales hub is in Auckland, however our Head Office and Factory are based in Wellington. We employ over 40 staff nationwide and have two fashion designers which assist with the design, construction and procurement of our uniforms.

Last year New Zealand Uniforms gave back $700,000 to New Zealand Schools and Sports Clubs.
